This notice describes the Butler Finance site and signed-in workspace. It is not legal advice.

Controller. The operator of herdgate.com / Butler Finance. Invitees are typically acting for their employer. A signed DPA, when one exists, is a separate owner-owned document.

What we collect. Account identifiers and email through Clerk. Tenant finance records you upload or type (workbooks, mapping, commentary, Ask prompts). Server logs. First-party product events (action names and ids, not pack amounts).

Why. To authenticate you, run the close loop you asked for, keep an audit trail, and operate the host. We do not sell personal information.

Who processes it. See Subprocessors: Clerk (identity), Render (host and database), and OpenAI when Ask fallback is on.

Retention. Tenant records last until the workspace is deleted or a contract says otherwise. Logs rotate with the host.

Your rights. If you are in a jurisdiction that grants access, correction, or deletion rights, ask through the person who invited you or the Contact page. We may need to verify the request with your organization.
